In 2022, Lily and Henk van Mulukom decided to donate their impressive private collection of modern art to Museum van Bommel van Dam. The collection consists of expressive, colourful artworks by members of the CoBrA group, the Amsterdam Limburgers and New Figuration artists. Notably, the collection includes also several works by Willem Hussem.
The De Kunst van het Geven (The Art of Giving) exhibition is a journey along a selection of over 100 paintings, sculptures and ceramic objects. The exhibition is on display from Saturday 9 March to Sunday 4 August 2024.
